Felling- The complete removal of the tree to ground level.

Crown reductions- Cutting back branches to reduce the size of the crown.

Pollarding- Pruning the tree very hard removing  all the branches.

Crown  thinning- The removal of branches within the tree to allow more sunlight.

Crown lifting- Removing the lower branches to open up an area and allow more sunlight

Conifers & Leylandii - removal and reduction in height

Dead wood and crown clean - The thinning out of branches within the crown to admit more light.  Often required in trees which have been badly pruned in the past

All waste is removed and the site left clean and tidy

Tree Preservation Orders/Conservation Areas
We will apply for permission to carry out works to a protected tree or conservation area through your local authority on your behalf free of charge.

Here at Taylor-Day Tree Services we offer a complete hedge cutting and hedge reduction service throughout the year, Common species of hedges that we deal with are Beech, Hornbeam, Box, Privet, Yew, Cherry laurel, Leylandii, Holly, Blackthorn, Hawthorn and Berberis.

Our firewood is dry stored and is a mixture of hard and soft woods. The Seasoned  logs are usually delivered within 48 hours of the order.
